Charlotte was born the second and last child to House Dozel, one year later on the same date as her older brother, Hunter. While Hunter was groomed to become their father's heir, the Lady of Dozel had high hopes that Charlotte would succeed her as well, and attempted to have her educated in all the finest and most ladylike studies.

Charlotte went along with it, for a while. She liked learning the staff, and dancing was fun. But one day when she was thirteen, she happened upon the knights of Dozel training. Any other girl would simply be enthralled to watch such handsome men train, but not Charlotte. Not only did she find them stunning to look at, she decided she wanted to learn how to use a weapon so she could train with them!

Through the years, Charlotte grew into an outspoken and infamous young lady. She did what she want, when she wanted, never caring what people said about her. It was her life to live, and as long as she wasn't hurting anyone, what did it matter?

But all good things must come to an end, the tomboy must mature into a lady. At least this one had to.

It started with a crush. She fell for her knight, Andrew, and he liked her back, at least enough to make out with her in secret. The crush snowballed into uncontrollable lust, which led to sex, then finally, love. It would've been a classic knight and princess tale...if the knight wasn't really a dragon. Needless to say, things didn't work out between them. After a suitable moping period, she met Will Bradford, her polar opposite. After a shaky beginning, they eventually fell in love and married.

Then, a few months after the wedding, tragedy struck. Chet Dozel unexpectedly died, leaving Hunter in charge and the family full of rage and upset. This played the final catalyst in her maturity from outspoken wild girl to assertive and sociable woman. Two years later, she gave birth to a son, whom she named Chet in honor of her father.

Charlotte has matured considerably over the years. She can still be plenty aggressive and stubborn when she wants to be, but she takes things a lot more seriously now and has mostly outgrown the wild and crazy exploits she loved as a girl.

Her old reputation has faded over the years, but most people are shocked when they find out the composed lady they're speaking with used to be the wild princess of Dozel. Fortunately, one thing Charlotte hasn't outgrown is her self-confidence; she doesn't care what people recognize her as. Unless they're rude about it, in which case she's quick to give them a piece of her mind.

She's never forgotten Andrew, and often spends time wondering what might have been. But she genuinely loves Will in spite of their differences, and enjoys being a mother.

Charlotte has grown considerably over the years; as a teenager becoming a woman she was cute and somewhat pretty, but as an adult she's decidedly beautiful. Her hair is longer, her face is more composed and elegant, and she's filled out...very nicely
